Music and a Mission is a fundraising event fighting food insecurity and supporting ALS United North Carolina. It is a ticketed music event with food concessions, information tables and a silent auction.  Our headlining band will be The Gravy Boys, and our acoustic stage artist will be Blake Eason. The event is being held in collaboration with the Outreach Ministries of Wake Forest Presbyterian Church, is led and staffed by volunteers from the church and the community, and is associated with the Wake Forest Listening Room. 

We are trying to make this event as cash free as possible, so please bring your credit/debit cards, and Venmo.

Our Charities in 2025 are shown below, along with the division of net proceeds from Music and a Mission

• ALS United North Carolina (50%)

• Wake Forest Community Table (16.7%)

• Journey Ministry Pantry (16.6%)

• WFPC Backpack Programs (16.7%)

The named charities will receive:

• 100% of donations made in person or via our website

• 100% of net proceeds from the silent auction and raffles

• 100% of net proceeds from the food concessions

• Approximately 50% of gross proceeds from the admission ticket sales, depending on attendance numbers.
